"Pasta and pixels" — when the website becomes the main ingredient

The client had delicious offline presence, but online everything looked... overcooked. We created a responsive website featuring food photography, online reservations, menu, and blog about Italian culture. Key focus — loading speed, mobile version and SEO (keywords: "Italian restaurant Tbilisi", "online table booking"). After 1.5 months, the website started generating 20+ daily reservations.
Tavola Nuova — an Italian restaurant with ambitions

The challenge

To create a modern, appetizing and fast-performing website for Tavola Nuova — a new Italian establishment in central Tbilisi.

How it was

Previously, the client had a page on a third-party site builder with an outdated template where:

  1. The menu was uploaded as a PDF screenshot.
  2. No mobile adaptation.
  3. Dish photos were from stock (!), not the actual kitchen.
  4. Loading took ~7 seconds.
  5. Users couldn't figure out how to book a table.

It looked like that restaurant you've "sort of heard about, but where is it actually?". No atmosphere, nothing to whet your appetite.

What we did

We started with a photoshoot: real dishes, chefs, interior — everything that captures the soul of the establishment. Then completely redesigned the website structure, made the menu interactive and easy to read on any device. Implemented online booking, improved loading speed and added a blog where the chef shares Italian gastronomic stories. Added SEO — turning our website from just a business card into a real funnel for new guests.

The result

After 1.5 months, Tavola Nuova reached top search rankings for key queries, and the website started consistently generating 20-25 reservations daily. Online now sells as effectively as the aroma of fresh tagliatelle.
